Round brushes “Wanderjahre”
The Wanderjahre series is a collection of paintbrushes that are handmade from top-quality synthetic fibres. Ideal for acrylic and oil paints, this series of paintbrushes is three times more resistant to abrasion than those with natural bristles. The fibres of the brush absorb and hold paint, as well as retain their shape for a long time due to them being tied and fitted by hand. The long birch wood handle allows the artist to paint at a distance from the canvas, thus offering a wider view of the work surface. Manual assembly, experience, and time-proven technologies allow the masters of the studio Albrecht to produce truly unique paintbrushes for professional artists. Our main master Jānis Valters has twenty-five years of experience in the production of paintbrushes.

Care of paintbrushes
In the daily work, paintbrushes are left in a special bucket called a brush cleaner. It is a small bucket with a sifter in the middle filled with kerosene or turpentine. Paintbrushes are rubbed against the sifter and the paint settles to the bottom of the bucket. Paintbrushes can be washed with soapsuds as well, but in no case with soap to prevent its contact with the canvas. During prolonged breaks in work, it is desirable to leave the paintbrush in a small jar filled with linseed oil, so that the paintbrush fibres do not touch the bottom of the jar.
